These long Touareg earrings are inspired by the ancient Touareg tribes of the African subcontinent.
The desert nomads would travel from many African lands such as Niger, Algiers, Mali to bring their wares for all to buy in the makeshift souks in the middle of the desert and other cities. One of the busiest routes was from Timbuktu to Marrakech.
