Walnut Wood Handmade Little Dish
These pretty little dishes are made in Morocco from sustainable walnut tree wood. Each one is different as the wood grain varies so much and it is the grain that makes them so beautiful If you would like a more intense colour to develop all you need to do is oil the wood with linseed oil or any vegetable oil. They vary slightly in shape and size too as the artisan works on each piece of wood as an individual piece with no ambition to make it the same as any other.
We like to leave ours natural at BE Lifestyle Boutique and watch it age slowly. Each time these dishes are used they change just a little and oily foods will speed up the darkening process.
These small flat dishes look great as coasters on a table, are amazing for snacks and are even perfect as bedside trinket dishes or to place a favourite candle on.
